Hi, I’m John Johnson III. And yes, the “3rd” in my portfolio’s name is official—a nod to my name and a reminder to always bring a third dimension of thought and creativity to the table.

My professional life has two halves, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

One half is dedicated to my craft. I partner with businesses to create their presence online, a process that involves everything from Graphic Design that captures their spirit, to the deep dive of Web Development that makes it all function. I believe good Web Design tells a story, and I work to make sure that story can be found with thoughtful SEO.

The other half is dedicated to sharing that craft. As an Adjunct Instructor at Clark State—the same college I graduated from—I get to teach Digital Design to a new generation. It’s incredibly rewarding and keeps me connected to the fundamentals and the future of our field, right here in my community.

Both roles are about the same thing: helping people build something they can be proud of.
